Nemanja Dordevic started his pursue of chemistry at the University of Nis (Republic of Serbia) where he was involved in the preparation of zirconia-based materials for degradation of pollutants under the guidance of Prof. Aleksandra Zarubica. Upon completion of his master degree in 2013, he was awarded with the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) to pursue his doctoral studies at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He joined the Vidovic group (currently Monash University) where he studied low-coordinate main group compounds for small molecule activation, as well as transition metal catalysts for H/D exchange. After graduating from NTU, he moved to United States where he was appointed as a Senior Scientist at Revegen Corporation. Shortly after, he joined Ung research group as a Research Scientist to investigate main group-based fluorescent dyes.
